(Follicular Unit Transplantation)

FUT is a method of cutting a strip of skin from the back of the head which to extracts individual hair follicles unit. After collection, the hair follicles are separated and transplanted. The hair follicles collection time is the shortest among surgical methods, which is advantageous for mass hair transplantation.

However, if the scalp elasticity is not good, the possibility of scarring increases, so it can be mixed with FUE or Non-Shaven FUE as necessary.

What’s special about Woomchan’s FUT

Advantages for masshair transplants

Compared with other surgical methods,

the time taken from follicle collection to transplantation is relatively short.

Relatively low cost

The cost of surgery is lower than

other surgical methods, which can reduce the burden of cost.

Shaving hairin a small range

Since FUT only shaves as much as

the range to be collected, the incision is sufficiently covered by the surrounding

hair after surgery.

Trichophytic Closure , a neat suture technique without scarring

After the FUT, a large amount of scarring occurs because tension is generated as the incision is pulled and sutured. Woomchan’s “Trichophytic Closure" sutures with minimal tension, so there is less pain and pulling during the incision, and the possibility of scarring is minimized because it sutures with reduced tension.

Trichophytic Closure : A suture called scarless suture, in which hairgrow from the scar area to cover the FUT scar.
